"Verily Allah has prescribed ihsan (proficiency, perfection) in all things"
- Hadith
The Muslim Sports Awards aim to recognise and celebrate the achievements of the Muslim community from grassroots and community level, right through to professional sporting talent, and the stakeholders working hard behind the scenes.
The 2025 Awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, December 4th at the iconic Elland Road Stadium of Leeds United.
This distinguished annual event transcends boundaries, celebrating excellence in sports at every level – from the grassroots to professional arenas, including community and club platforms.
By establishing the Muslim Sports Awards, we aim to bridge this gap and provide a platform that not only celebrates the achievements of the Muslim community, but also instil a profound sense of accomplishment and pride. This initiative seeks to empower aspiring Muslims across the country, encouraging them to pursue their sporting dreams with determination and fostering a supportive environment that nurtures their growth and success.

"The fight is won or lost far away from the witnesses, behind the lines, in the gym and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights."
